Agave nectar is naturally extracted from the core of the Agave plant. It has a 90% fruit sugar content which means that it will absorb slowly into the body, decreasing normal sugar highs and lows the body experiences. Agave nectar is about 25% sweeter than sugar so you can use less of it and decrease caloric intake.
This product has a very low Glycemic Index.
